National President

Today, I stand before you as the President of Agecope, a dedicated organization committed to the welfare and well-being of our elderly citizens. It is both an honor and a responsibility to address the critical issue of improving the standard of care for our seniors in Malaysia. Our elderly population has contributed immensely to our nation’s growth and prosperity, and it is our moral obligation to ensure that they live their golden years in comfort, dignity, and with the highest standards of care.

First and foremost, Agecope recognizes the need for increased funding and resources in our aged care facilities. Our elders deserve access to quality healthcare, nutritious meals, and comfortable living conditions. It is imperative that we collaborate with the government and private sector to invest in state-of-the-art facilities and well-trained caregivers who can provide the specialized care our seniors require. Moreover, we must advocate for policies that promote the rights and dignity of the elderly, ensuring they are protected from neglect, abuse, and discrimination. Together, as a society, we must work towards fostering a culture of respect and compassion for our elderly, emphasizing their invaluable role in our families and communities. By doing so, we can raise the standard of care for our senior citizens, ensuring that they enjoy their retirement years with the respect and support they deserve.
