Persatuan Pengendali Jagaan Berkediaman Warga Emas Se-Malaysia ( Association for Residential Aged Care Operators of Malaysia ) or Agecope was initiated and registered as a National Association on the 4th of September, 2018. Agecope comprises of experienced professional practitioners working in the Aged Care Health industry. Our mission is to improve the standard of care to our elderly charges by collaborating with the related ministries and agencies to bring about positive changes in this industry.Agecope’s vision is to see a quality health care service for the elderly and for the industry to be supported in providing affordable high-quality care.

Quality of provision for elderly care in Malaysia is variable and reactive. There is a big gap between our existing elderly care industry and official rules and legislations which have no practical relation or application to the industry in reality. We have identified that Aged Care in Malaysia could be strengthened to enhance provision of service and delivery of care in keeping with best practice as well as it being a vehicle as a representative to the Ministry and related agencies to voice concerns and offer ideas and solutions to progress the aged care industry for consumers and operators.
